#1) The methods that work for men may not work for women.
#2) It has been traditionally taught by men (for men) with a dominant culture of brawling for superiority.
Women are seen as victims who will be assaulted and the physical skills are their primary (and some believe only) option.
This is an industry in which the methods that work for men may not be the best methods for women.
We think the self-defense industry is WRONG..
These skills have nothing to do with our ages, our physical fitness levels, or personal defense training.
The statistics of violence against women change when we make them change. Women must take a stand and own the right to determine what happens to our bodies. We have a unique ability to read the subtleties of escalating interactions associated with the majority of violent actions against women.
